Spooky Fun!

I love the Clearance Rack! And the Witch's Brew Designer series paper is a great steal!!
I found this frame at the Dollar Tree! Removed the glass and cut a piece of paper to fit inside.
I cut various 2x2 squares from the paper pack.  Each square was decorated differently using several Halloween stamp sets, punches & wash tape!! To give it that special touch I used the banner punch on different patterns of paper. I hot glued the banners to bakers twine to dangle the it from the side & top. I did use dementionals to give the squares more depth..so the glass from the frame is not replaced. Loving the orange and black motif!! So much fun!
Although it took some time and thought to plan out the designs..I had a lot of fun with this project! I made sure to cut extra squares! I do think now that I have the finished..this will be must faster the second or third time around! Can't wait to try one for Christmas!!!! Keep look out for it by December!!

Halloween is almost here! I will miss it so much when it's gone!
But I sure enjoy making all my spooky projects!! I'm going to try to create more before the 31st! Getting some ideas for next year as well!

Owl be Witched!

I love creating cute gifts for anyone! When my sweet mom-in-law wanted to do the cute lil owl witch on a broom (tootsie pop) that I made for everyone (total of 5) who came to my last workshop...I thought, "Sure I can help you!".
She ordered her supplies and came over today to create all the little goodies...20 of them!!
It was a long process! These adorable little gals will be gifted to her new friends the day before Halloween! Even though it was more work than I had planned, we had a great time talking and watching my little guy play, sing and run around the house.
The 31st will be here before I know it! I'm going to enjoy all the Halloween goodies before it's gone!!

Fall in love...
with Fall!!

Southern CA weather makes it hard to get into the fall spirit. I am hoping for more crisp, cool weather!! Until then...I am adding Halloween and fall decor to my house! It definitely helps! This is my newest creation! I used my circle nestabilities and starburst framelits! I went on My Digital Studio to print out the letters in Pumpkin Pie and added some glitter. The leaves are from the stamp set Project Life Holiday Cheer Photopolymer Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!

On the list for this week...Pumpkin Pie creamer and Chai tea for my Keurig!
Enjoy Fall!

STARZ Halloween blog hop

This is Halloween.....
Great way to start blogging...a Halloween Blog Hop!!  Enjoy the great ideas and wonderful treats all those crafty Jacksonville STARZ have been creating!

I love giving treats for any occasion...so I came up with this Boo Bag!

Use the Big Shot to cut out the Banners. Smallest size (white), 3rd size (tangerine), 4th size (Rich Razzleberry). Stamp BOO onto white banner with Razzleberry ink and sponge the same color around edges.  Adhere them together. Punch White & black paper using Owl punch. Cut the feet off the white owl shape, to make ghost. Use the medium circles and tiny circle from the black paper to make eyes and mouth. Punch a circle in tag and tie a simple bow using the chevron ribbon. I placed black licorice into a the cellophane bag and folded the remaining bag around the licorice. Using the Tangerine/white trim I tied the top of the bag. I trimmed the chevron craft bag about 2 1/2" from top. I then used the fringe scissors to fringe the top of the bag. I placed the cellophane bag into the craft bag and tied the tag around the middle of the bag! Happy Halloween treats!
